Hogar Miguel Magone

Hogar Miguel Magone is a home for children situated in the mountains on the outskirts of Guatemala City, near Aquacate.

This amazing place of hope was founded by Karen Rodas (Guatemalan woman of the year, 2005) and the land it is bulit on was donated by a local farmer.

Although every child living at the Hogar (the home) goes though court trials to get a placemenet, there is no support from the government in terms of running the orphanage. Hogar Miguel Magone is completely reliant on donations from private people and the helping hands of local and foregin volunteers.
